eBulletin: 7 January 2007

Pray for the Following: Peace for Israel/Middle East, Pastor and Family, Safety for our Military, Shut-ins, Government, Holy Spirit Power, Revival of the Christian Church

A special thanks to Don Meyer for sharing God's word. Your willingness and time are appreciated.

Confirmation will resume January 16.

Pastor will be on vacation December 26-Jan. 8. In the event of an emergency contact one of our deacons: Joyce Larson, Raymond Jordan or Leland Pederson.

Something new! Miss a service, want to hear the sermon again or recommend it to a friend? The sermon is now recorded digitally on the church’s website. This has been made possible through memorial money in loving memory of Shirley Henning. We are pleased the family wanted to use the funds in this way. The desire is for outreach and for those unable to attend.

To hear the sermon, log onto: www.pilotknob.org and select the sermon you want from the "Sermon Podcasts" menu in the middle of the screen. Click on the MP3, turn up your volume and enjoy.

Food for Thot: Isn’t it strange how we believe everything that magazines and newspapers say, but we question the words in the Bible?

We invite you into the fellowship of God’s church. If you have any questions concerning Church membership, or would like a pastoral visit, please let Pastor or an usher know. Anyone interested in joining the church, or for more information, please contact Pastor Bob.

Pilot Knob’s Purpose Statement:
Worship God and proclaim His Word so people experience salvation in Jesus, mature in the faith, and equip all to serve in the church and world.

THIS WEEK

TODAY
9:00 a.m.

Morning Worship: Mr. Don Meyer will share God’s word.

No Choir Rehearsal

SUN | 1/14/07
9:00 a.m.
Communion Worship Service - We come together to receive the body and blood of our Savior Jesus Christ, As Paul taught his church, whoever eats the bread and drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself. May we prepare through forgiveness and repentance to receive communion in a worthy manner.
