Welcome to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church, AALC. We pray your worship here this morning will be uplifting and help you better understand the relationship we have with God through Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions about receiving Jesus by faith and beginning a relationship with God, please speak with the person who invited you, another member of the congregation or the Pastor before you leave this morning. We will be happy to help you discover the truth about starting a new life with Jesus today! Once, again, welcome and may God richly bless our time here this day.

Pray for the Following: Donna Lee Ranheim, Sherry Flugum, Safety for our military, Government, Revival, AALC, Persecuted Christians. Denise Swanberg (comedian April 25)

Personal Memory Bank: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." --I John 1:9

Last Week’s Quiz: What does the author of Hebrews instruct his congregation not to throw away? Hebrews 10
This Week’s Quiz: What sin will Jesus' sacrifice not cover? Hebrews 10

Thrivent for Lutherans will be matching funds donated toward Sunday School partitions. The total needed is $950.00. We will be receiving a special offering today and next Sunday. Thank you for your help. They will arrive around April 9.

Lenten Offering will be going to The Healing House of New Hope Center, a residential Christian recovery ministry for women.

Annual Meeting: April 22: "All committees and organizations handling funds within the congregation shall submit annual reports to the church secretary four weeks prior to the annual meeting." (By-Laws; Section V)

Food for Thot: "I will overlook the inconveniences of the world, Instead of cursing the one who takes my place, I’ll invite him to do so. Rather than complain that the wait is too long, I will thank God for a moment to pray. Instead of clinching my fist at new assignments, I will face them with joy and courage." --"Each Day," by Max Lucado

Pilot Knob’s Purpose Statement:
Worship God and proclaim His Word so people experience salvation in Jesus, mature in the faith, and equip all to serve in the church and world.
