Welcome to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church, AALC. We pray your worship here this morning will be uplifting and help you better understand the relationship we have with God through Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions about receiving Jesus by faith and beginning a relationship with God, please speak with the person who invited you, another member of the congregation or the Pastor before you leave this morning. We will be happy to help you discover the truth about starting a new life with Jesus today! Once, again, welcome and may God richly bless our time here this day.

Pray for the Following: AALC convention, Louis and Dorothy Escebedo (Missionaries), Safety for our Military, Government, Revival of the Christian Church, AALC, Persecuted Christians

Personal Memory Bank: "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me ... if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!" —Galatians 2:20-21 (NIV)

Last Week’s Quiz: According to Ezekiel 7, what will not be able to save God's people from his judgment?
This Week’s Quiz: What does the Lord call "the house of Israel" in Ezekiel 12, and how many times is it mentioned?

Coffee will be served after the service today.

The basket on the counter is for anyone who wishes to donate for quilting supplies which consists of fabric, thread and batting.

The council has established a computer fund to replace the aging church computer. The cost will be from $800 to $1,100. If you would like to contribute to this please mark your contribution accordingly.

Food for Thot: Surface water after heating sinks to the bottom and warms the depth of the oceans and helps to produce ocean currents. If we didn’t have ocean currents the ocean wouldn’t stay in liquid form, and currents could not do many other things, such as distribute heat. —The earth was created for man.—

The North Iowa CASA program (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) is seeking community volunteers to be trained to serve as advocates for children under the protection of juvenile court due to having been abused or neglected. Men and women of all ages and ethnic backgrounds are welcome to apply. For more information visit northiowacasa.com or call 866-295-5262.

Are you up for a daily quiz? Connect to pilotknob.org for the quiz of the day and test your knowledge of the Bible. It can be a growing experience. You can also hear past and weekly sermons or daily devotions.

Pilot Knob’s Purpose Statement:
