Welcome to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church, AALC. We pray your worship here this morning will be uplifting and help you better understand the relationship we have with God through Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions about receiving Jesus by faith and beginning a relationship with God, please speak with the person who invited you, another member of the congregation or the Pastor before you leave this morning. We will be happy to help you discover the truth about starting a new life with Jesus today! Once, again, welcome and may God richly bless our time here this day.

Thank you John Kittleson for bringing the message today. Your time and insight is always appreciated. Also thank you to Joyce Schmidt for leading the worship service.

Pray for the Following: Donna Ranheim's niece, Amanda Simmons – Iraq; Louis and Dorothea Escobedo (missionaries); Safety for our military; Government; Revival; AALC; Persecuted Christians

Sunday School will begin Sept. 9, all are welcome.

Thank you for the cards, prayers and visits at the time of my surgery and recuperation. I am doing well and soon will be able to be out and about. —Max Nye

If you are interested in church membership or would like to know more information, please contact Pastor Bob. A membership class will be coming in the near future.

The council has established a computer fund to replace the aging church computer. The cost will be from $800 to $1,100. Thus far there is $710.00. If you would like to contribute to this please mark your contribution accordingly.

Food for Thot: "The church is not a gathering of people who wish to live in safety, but rather a communion of faithful who have been entrusted with a mission."

Faith Comes By Hearing Challenge: $948.00 by Sept. 23 ($4.62/week per family). An offering will be taken Sept. 23.

Are you up for a daily quiz? Connect to pilotknob.org for the quiz of the day and test your knowledge of the Bible. It can be a growing experience. You can also hear past and weekly sermons or daily devotions.

Pilot Knob’s Purpose Statement:
Worship God and proclaim His Word so people experience salvation in Jesus, mature in the faith, and equip all to serve in the church and world
