Welcome to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church, AALC. We pray your worship here this morning will be uplifting and help you better understand the relationship we have with God through Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions about receiving Jesus by faith and beginning a relationship with God, please speak with the person who invited you, another member of the congregation or the Pastor before you leave this morning. We will be happy to help you discover the truth about starting a new life with Jesus today! Once, again, welcome and may God richly bless our time here this day.

Pray for the Following: Max and Florence Nye; Donna Ranheim’s niece, Amanda Simmons (Iraq); Louis and Dorothea Escobedo (missionaries) trip to India; Safety for our military; Government; Revival; AALC; Persecuted Christians

Personal Memory Bank: “As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.” —Psalm 18:30 (NIV)

Today’s Quiz: Why were priests not to wear wool while ministering in the inner court? Read Ezekiel 44.
Next Week’s Quiz: What was the consequence for not worshipping the golden image of King Nebuchadnezzar?

Please note the time the candles are being extinguished is a time for reflection and prayer on what God has spoken to you.

Passover Seder Meal will be at 6:00 p.m. on March 15. It will be conducted by Jeannie Goldstein. She is currently in Israel and works for “Jews for Jesus.” Plan on inviting a friend.

The church is in need of a congregational coordinator for Thrivant Financial in order to qualify for matching funds. If you have a Thrivant policy and are interested, contact a council member.

The gift wrapped box at the foot of the lectern is a birthday box. If you had a birthday the past week and would like to give an offering that will go to missions you may place it in the box during the offering.

A special thanks to all for your prayers, cards, flowers and food that we received during our illness and recuperation. It was all very much appreciated. We hope to be out and about soon. —Max and Florence Nye

In the event of adverse weather, it may be necessary for Sunday services to be cancelled. If they are, it will be announced on the following radio stations: KJLY, KCMR, KIOW, KGLO, KIMT. If you think you missed the announcement you may call Pastor Bob.

The council has established a technology fund. This fund will be used to replace and/or repair equipment. Donations are accepted at any time.

Food for thot: Twenty-six things we learn from our mothers. My mother taught me about BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION: “Stop acting like your father!”

Did you miss a service and would like to hear the sermon, or refer the message to someone else? Are you up for a daily quiz? Connect to www.pilotknob.org. Are you up for a quiz of the day and a test your knowledge of the Bible? It can be a growing experience.

Link for a kids’ web site: www.kidsanswers.org. They'll love the fun and you will love the safe, creator-honoring entertainment that awaits them.

Pilot Knob’s Purpose Statement:
