Welcome to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church, AALC. We pray your worship here this morning will be uplifting and help you better understand the relationship we have with God through Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions about receiving Jesus by faith and beginning a relationship with God, please speak with the person who invited you, another member of the congregation or the Pastor before you leave this morning. We will be happy to help you discover the truth about starting a new life with Jesus today! Once, again, welcome and may God richly bless our time here this day.

Today Taylor Michael May is presented for Christian Baptism. Taylor is the son of Heather May and grandson of Sherry and Greg Flugum. Let us support them in our prayers.

Pray for the Following: Judy Schoneman; Florence Nye; Jon and Donna Ranheim’s niece, Amanda Simmons (Iraq); Louis and Dorothea Escobedo (missionaries); Safety for our military; Government; Revival; AALC; Persecuted Christians

Personal Memory Bank: “Jesus said ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?’” —John 11:25-26 (NIV)

Today’s Quiz: How many days was Jonah in the belly of the whale?
Next Week’s Quiz: In Daniel 9, who gives insight and understanding to Daniel?

Our Easter Sonrise service “RISE AGAIN” will be at 7:00 a.m. on March 23 and presented by the PKLC choir. Invite a friend for this exciting and faith-building service of praise and worship of our risen Lord.

If you plan to attend the Easter breakfast following the 7 a.m. service, please sign your name and the number coming. This way the WOL can prepare enough food. There will be extra, so if you won’t know until the last minute, it is still okay to join us.

Passover Seder Meal will be at 6:00 p.m. on March 15. It will be conducted by Jeannie Goldstein. She is currently in Israel and works for “Jews for Jesus.”

The gift-wrapped box at the foot of the lectern is a birthday box. If you had a birthday the past week and would like to give an offering that will go to missions you may place it in the box during the offering.

On the Lite Side: Twenty-six things we learn from our mothers. My mother taught me about RECEIVING: “You are going to get it when we get home!”

In the event of adverse weather, it may be necessary for Sunday services to be cancelled. If they are it will be announced on the following radio stations: KJLY, KCMR, KIOW, KGLO, KIMT. If you think you missed the announcement you may call Pastor Bob.

The council has established a technology fund. This fund will be used to replace and/or repair equipment. Donations are accepted at any time.

Did you miss a service and would like to hear the sermon, or refer the message to someone else? Are you up for a daily quiz? Connect to www.pilotknob.org. Are you up for a quiz of the day and a test your knowledge of the Bible? It can be a growing experience.

Link for a kids’ web site: www.kidsanswers.org. They'll love the fun and you will love the safe, creator-honoring entertainment that awaits them.

Pilot Knob’s Purpose Statement:
