Welcome to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church, AALC. We pray your worship here this morning will be uplifting and help you better understand the relationship we have with God through Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions about receiving Jesus by faith and beginning a relationship with God, please speak with the person who invited you, another member of the congregation or the Pastor before you leave this morning. We will be happy to help you discover the truth about starting a new life with Jesus today! Once, again, welcome and may God richly bless our time here this day.

Pray for the Following: Florence and Jerry Nye; Donna Ranheim’s niece, Amanda Simmons (Iraq); Jon Ranheim; Louis and Dorothea Escobedo (missionaries); Safety for our military; Government; Revival; AALC; Persecuted Christians

Personal Memory Bank: “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” —John 14:6 (NIV)

Today’s Quiz: In Daniel 9, who gives insight and understanding to Daniel?
Quiz in Two Weeks: To whom did God appoint to build him a temple in Jerusalem? Read Ezra 1.

Our Easter Sonrise service “RISE AGAIN” will be at 7:00 a.m. on March 23 and presented by the PKLC choir. Invite a friend for this exciting and faith-building service of praise and worship of our risen Lord.

If you plan to attend the Easter breakfast following the 7 a.m. service, please sign your name and the number coming. This way the WOL can prepare enough food. There will be extra, so if you won’t know until the last minute, it is still okay to join us.

Stonesoup singing group will be at PKLC at 6:00 p.m. on April 6.

2008 Annual Meeting will be April 13. Turn in committee reports to Betty by March 30.

The gift-wrapped box at the foot of the lectern is a birthday box. If you had a birthday the past week and would like to give an offering that will go to missions you may place it in the box during the offering.

On the Lite Side: My mother taught me about MEDICAL SCIENCE: “If you don’t stop crossing your eyes, they are going to freeze that way.”

Please note that the time the candles are being extinguished is a time for reflection and prayer on what God has spoken to you.

Did you miss a service and would like to hear the sermon, or refer the message to someone else? Are you up for a daily quiz? Connect to www.pilotknob.org. Are you up for a quiz of the day and a test your knowledge of the Bible? It can be a growing experience.

Link for a kids’ web site: www.kidsanswers.org. They'll love the fun and you will love the safe, creator-honoring entertainment that awaits them.

Pilot Knob’s Purpose Statement:
Worship God and proclaim His Word so people experience salvation in Jesus, mature in the faith, and equip all to serve in the church and world
