Welcome to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church, AALC. We pray your worship here this morning will be uplifting and help you better understand the relationship we have with God through Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions about receiving Jesus by faith and beginning a relationship with God, please speak with the person who invited you, another member of the congregation or the Pastor before you leave this morning. We will be happy to help you discover the truth about starting a new life with Jesus today! Once, again, welcome and may God richly bless our time here this day.

Pray for the Following: Max, Florence and Jerry Nye; Jon Ranheim; Donna Ranheim’s niece, Amanda Simmons (Iraq); Jon Ranheim; Louis and Dorothea Escobedo; Safety for our military; Presidential Election; Revival; AALC; Persecuted Christians

Today’s Quiz: What did the angel tell Daniel at the beginning of his dream? Read Daniel 10.
Next Week’s Quiz: How did the older priests respond when they saw the foundation of the temple? Read Ezra 3.

Annual Meeting has been changed to April 20th. Reports will be handed out April 13th.

Stone Soup Singers will be at PKLC at 6:00 p.m. tonight. Bring a friend for some inspirational music.

The Forest City Food Bank supplies food for those in need and has seen a rise in customers in recent weeks. We will have a box available year-round for donations. At this time they could use toilet paper, toothpaste, shampoo and tuna in addition to regular nonperishable food items.

The gift-wrapped box at the foot of the lectern is a birthday box. If you had a birthday the past week and would like to give an offering that will go to missions you may place it in the box during the offering.

Meaning of Communion
Today we come together to receive the body and blood of our Savior Jesus Christ. As the apostle Paul taught his church, whoever eats the bread and drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. (I Corinthians 11:17-34) A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks with out recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself. May we prepare through forgiveness and repentance to receive communion in a worthy and God-honoring manner.

Did you miss a service and would like to hear the sermon, or refer the message to someone else? Are you up for a daily quiz? Connect to www.pilotknob.org. Are you up for a quiz of the day and a test your knowledge of the Bible? It can be a growing experience.

Link for a kids’ web site: www.kidsanswers.org. They'll love the fun and you will love the safe, creator-honoring entertainment that awaits them.

Pilot Knob’s Purpose Statement:
Worship God and proclaim His Word so people experience salvation in Jesus, mature in the faith, and equip all to serve in the church and world
