THANK YOU!

—Roger and Marian Jennings for the opportunity.
—Thrivent for matching funds ($1,300/year, maximum). The amount raised will be communicated during announcements.

Thank You to Bobbi Elbert for organizing the sewing room, fabrics, etc. It was greatly appreciated.

Meaning of Communion

Today we come together to receive the body and blood of our Savior Jesus Christ. As the apostle Paul taught his church, whoever eats the bread and drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

“A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks with out recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself.” —I Corinthians 11:17-34

May we prepare through forgiveness and repentance to receive communion in a worthy and God-honoring manner.
