Welcome to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church, AALC. We pray your worship here this morning will be uplifting and help you better understand the relationship we have with God through Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions about receiving Jesus by faith and beginning a relationship with God, please speak with the person who invited you, another member of the congregation or the Pastor before you leave this morning. The council is suggesting each family donate $5 a week to retire the building debt by Thanksgiving. Thank you for your help.

Identity Theft Program will be presented from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on October 28 at PKLC by the Forest City Police. This is open to the public so share the information.

November 22: Service will be at 11:00 and Sunday School at 10:00. We will also be burning the mortgage and having a celebration dinner for retiring the church debt. Meat, potatoes and drinks will be provided. Please bring to share a salad, vegetable or dessert. Please see the sign up sheet.

You are invited to attend Caring Pregnancy Center’s “Beginning Anew” Dessert Reception at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, at the Clear Lake Middle School. Dessert Reception at 7:30 p.m. Program: Women whose lives have been changed through the love of God will share a message of hope, love and life changing principles for young women in crisis pregnancy. Tickets are free for this event and may be obtained by calling the Caring Pregnancy Center, (641) 424-2237. Reservations are required. A free will offering will be taken. The Caring Pregnancy Center is located at 830 15th Street SW, Suite #1, Mason City, Iowa.

Please note the time the candles are being extinguished is a time for reflection and prayer on what God has spoken to you.

If you had a birthday the past month and would like to give an offering that will go to missions you may place it in the gift wrapped box at the foot of the lectern at any time.

The Forest City Food Bank supplies food for those in need and has had a rise in customers in recent months. We will have a box available year round for donations.

The council has established a technology fund. This fund will be used to replace and/or repair equipment. Donations are accepted at any time.
