Welcome to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Pilot Knob Lutheran Church, AALC. We pray your worship here this morning will be uplifting and help you better understand the relationship we have with God through Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions about receiving Jesus by faith and beginning a relationship with God, please speak with the person who invited you, another member of the congregation or the Pastor before you leave this morning. We will be happy to help you discover the truth about starting a new life with Jesus today! Once, again, welcome and may God richly bless our time here this day.

Meaning of Communion
Today we come together to receive the body and blood of our Savior Jesus Christ. As the apostle Paul taught his church, whoever eats the bread and drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

“A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks with out recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment upon himself.” (I Corinthians 11:17-34) May we prepare through forgiveness and repentance to receive communion in a worthy and God-honoring manner.

If any one would like to attend the church convention the church will pay 1/2 your expenses. The convention is at Ft. Wayne Indiana, June 25-28. Deadline for registration is May 15.

I urge everyone to see “Expelled.” It was riveting. Ben Stein does a masterful job of exposing the ruthlessness of evolutionists who will go after anyone who challenges or merely questions Darwinian orthodoxy. I was on the edge of my seat—entertained yet instructed. This movie is a must see, for everyone. Expelled is a much-needed perspective on the erosion of freedoms in America. Don't miss it!
—Ken Ham, president of the world’s largest apologetics ministry, Answers in Genesis and the newly opened Creation Museum.
